This 5k race and fun run was held at the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek.  The whole family participated and we each received a shirt and entry into the zoo.  I was at the end of the pack when the race started and it was difficult to catch up time lost when the race gun was fired.  This was my first 5K and now I would like to participate in another 5K race to see how well I could do.  After I finished, I doubled back and found the family.  Jodi and Ashtyn ran the last half of the race and I finished with Macen.  We had a fun day afterwards at the zoo!
